Local Black Community Organizations are likely to know of Black doulas, especially if they have services for pregnancy, birth, postpartum, abortion or breastfeeding.
We put together a list of black-led organizations that mentor, train and/ or connect with birth workers. These organizations address the gaps in pregnancy and postpartum.
Feel free to use this list to connect with grassroots organizations that are changing the culture of birth within our communities! Most organizations on this list are open to donations.
You can also make a donation or buy some awesome gear from our shop (it’s made by a black creator).
This registry is for black-led doula organizations and trainers only. Independent birth workers are not included in this list but can be added to the platforms listed below. Send us a email if you qualify for our list.
Let us know if this list is helpful and give us a thumbs up! We would love to continue bringing you useful information.
